VR-video will teach chidren swimming


Developers from Sweden have decided to use virtual reality opportunities to teach children swimming.  VR-video will allow them to overcome the fear of water.

In Sweden, abundant in lakes, each fifth child cannot swim.


The Swedish Swimming Federation and E.ON energy company have decided to launch a project together, where children kind of “dive” with the help of VR goggles Google cardboard and 360-degree video. Visual and acoustic sensations are adjusted, creating the effect of being underwater.

 Such   psychological technique allows curing phobias. Using VR headset children watch videos, where a team of swimmers teach them correct swimming and breathing techniques.
