Virtual tour across Chornobyl at the AR Conference

First time ever, Polish developers will present their project – The Chernobyl VR Project

The Chernobyl VR Project is an adventure into the world of virtual reality allowing conference visitors to immerse into realistic decorations of Chornobyl and Prypyat.

Idea is based on the Thorskan technology designed for creating the high tech effects and environments for movie making segment, and is perfectly crafted for video games.

Players act as journalist team members who went for an exploration of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant exclusion area.

During the project creation, The Chernobyl VR Project developers visited places inaccessible for tourists and scanned them to get photorealistic materials. Using stereoscopic cameras, they captured everything, even the smallest details: graffiti, wall shears, banister rust. Demo version is supposed to launch in April 2016.

AR Conference participants will get a unique possibility to go for a virtual tour across Chornobyl before the official project presentation.
