Lenovo announced daystAR head set
At Tech World 2017, Lenovo has presented an augmented reality head set – daystAR.
DaystAR is similar to Microsoft HoloLens: it is designed to project the augmented reality on the objects around helping its owner to work. However, the device looks more like a helmet than glasses. The size is determined by the in-built electronic filling: data processing block, optical display and adjustable lens. The field-of-view is similar to HoloLens – 40°.
While presenting, developers have shown the daystAR efficiency in aero-engine repair. Currently, the device is only a concept, so there is no information about the price and release date yet.
