Leap Motion is going to launch a finger tracking VR technology without portable devices.
Lead Motion conducted fundraising and managed to collect $50 bn investments. J.P. Morgan Asset Management was a head of this event. According to Leap Motion, it would allow to spread this technology all around the world – Asia, in particular.
“Future natural manipulations would be an indispensable interacting part in AR, VR and MR. The inclusion of this technology would be similar to the introduction of touch screens in the world of mobile phones,” says Leap Motion CEO Michael Buckwald.
The exact release date of a new product is unknown. VR experts share the opinion that finger tracking is one of the most complicated tasks in virtual reality.
