FaceDisplay – a VR headset with touch screen displays
Engineers from Ulm University and MIT have created a unique VR headset that enables interaction from outside.
The device is called FaceDisplay. With its help, not only the person wearing the headset but also people around him can interact with the virtual world. The point is that it features touch screen displays that stream video. Anyone can touch the display and the headset owner will see various special effects in the place, where the touch took place.
Despite the fact that currently there is no need to engage non-HMD users in the VR experience, creators are planning to release FaceDisplay for sale.
