2016-07-04

The issue of virtual reality has been continuously discussed at the conference Google I/O. The company talked about shifting Web browsing to this area, and greater availability of the technology for users.

New opportunities are built into Chrome for Android – Beta and Dev.

They support immersive interfaces WebVR and VR shell that allow Internet browsing for Cardboard owners. Browsing is also possible for Daydream viewers.

The work on VR shell is still in progress, and it will be released soon.

Meanwhile, users have to take glasses on and off, but Google is planning to allow browsing content without taking off glasses.

Samsung have presented a browser compatible with Gear VR.

And Google Play has already created a section with applications and content for virtual reality.
